The Federation of State Humanities Councils, the National Humanities Alliance, and host council Rhode Island Humanities invite you to join us in the “Ocean State” at the 2024 National Humanities Conference November 13-17 in Providence, Rhode Island. Connect with other humanities professionals across the nation from humanities councils, community organizations, museums, libraries, scholarly societies, and colleges and universities. Come ready to make waves and navigate currents of change!
We have an exciting program in store for this year’s conference. A record number of more than 200 proposals were submitted, and after careful deliberation by the conference committee, 90 sessions were selected, including offsite experiential sessions, workshops, panels, tours, individual “lightning rounds,” and plenaries. This year, no conference activities will occur at the hotel. The conference hotel is conveniently connected to the Rhode Island Convention Center, where sessions will be taking place.
Register now to receive our lowest rate. The early bird pricing deadline is September 13, 2024. We can’t wait to see you there!
