Originally from El Paso, TX, Edward (he/his) fell in love with event planning while working at the International Monetary Fund, where he planned three different high-level conferences involving heads of state from the South American and Caribbean region. Edward became a full-time event planner at the National Trust for Historic Preservation before COVID upended the world. He eventually found his way to the Federation, joining in the fall of 2020, where he was instrumental in helping the Federation pivot its conference and events to virtual. Edward received his B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso.
